This Technical Certificate unit is based on the national occupational standards unit which involves receiving delivery of products and materials ready for use. The products and materials can be received from within the organisation or delivered to the site. It is up to the candidate to make sure that the products and materials are the correct quantity and quality. The candidate has to ensure the products and materials are available and the correct type. Finally the candidate will have to store the products and materials somewhere, even if only temporarily. The products and materials have to be positioned in a safe and convenient place, and moved and handled safely.
