This Technical Certificate unit is derived from quality related units in the national occupational standards. The first outcome requires the candidate to prepare to monitor and check quality. It is important that the candidate is able to access the correct specification and use correct and calibrated measuring equipment. The second outcome requires the candidate to know the products of the organisation and to be able to detect variations in the product.
